Build the solution around the production requirement.
Machine and mould data
Provide machine make, model, tonnage, controller, platen and tie-bar dimensions, mould height, mounting information, mould-open stroke, ejector travel, core sequence and interface details. Photos and layout drawings help expose clearance or access constraints early.
Component, sprue and insert data
Record dimensions, mass, temperature, cavity count, surface requirements, release behaviour and permitted grip points. Include the sprue or runner and every insert. CAD models, samples and an actual moulding-cycle video are especially useful.
Cycle and motion requirement
State current and target cycle time, mould-open window, robot-entry time, vertical and traverse distances, orientation changes, placement accuracy and safe-clear position. Separate genuine production requirements from desirable but nonessential movements.
Downstream process and quality
Define where each component and runner goes. Include cooling, cavity separation, vision, cutting, assembly, counting, stacking, trays, bags, boxes, conveyors and reject handling. State product variants and changeover expectations.
Controls, safety and acceptance
Agree machine handshakes, cell states, recipe needs, data, guarding, access and recovery. Acceptance criteria should cover representative products, target rate, changeover, fault recovery, quality output, documentation and training.

Frequently asked questions
What determines injection moulding robot payload?
The complete moving load: EOAT plus all parts, sprues, inserts, valves, sensors and cables, considered with reach and acceleration.
Should I select the robot before the EOAT?
They should be developed together. EOAT weight, envelope and grip method directly affect robot payload, strokes and cycle performance.
What should be sent with an enquiry?
Machine and mould details, layout, component and sprue information, target cycle, downstream requirement, photos and preferably a short process video.
